RAC refer a Friend

Refer a friend for RAC breakdown cover and you both get a 25 pound M&S voucher... I thought, great, my friend is looking for breakdown cover and after chatting with him, I filled out the online form. The problem was, a few days later, my friend said, we won't be getting the Vouchers, because, they offered him a deal of some kind, when he phoned to get his cover.
Now.. call me old fashioned.. but I sent him their way and he took out cover.. I did my part and put a customer their way and who will probably stay with them, like I have, for years, giving them considerable profit. New refered applicants have to phone a special phone number... is it, that on the phone they simply offer a "special" deal of some kind to everyone that phones,.. nock a few quid off, so that neither of us get the Voucher ??...because it says .. in very small print.. if you click on the terms and conditions.. they don't give the vouchers alongside any other deal. I would be very interested to find out how many people who refer a friend, actually get their M&S voucher.

Being with the RAC, you were most likely being fleeced. 

They have just done it to you again.

..I would leave and join the AA.....there have been some really bad experiences posted regarding the RAC..??

As an alternative, I’ll refer you to Green Flag. 

We both get nothing for doing it but you’ll save a lot of money.
