Microsoft money fails me

I have been using MS Money for many years but it has suddenly stopped downloading credit card transactions. Other bank transactions fine.
Has anyone solved this or do I finally have to find new software. Please not!!!!!

MS Money UK stopped being developed in 2005 and the online features stopped in 2009, so it’s amazing it’s continued to work for so long. The US edition lasted until 2010.

Have you had a look at the various other threads covering Microsoft Money? I seem to recall that one of those pointed to something that could fix issues with downloading some stuff, but I'm not sure what as I've never had mine set up to do these automatic downloads.

You may have in mind the Share price downloads?
I have that "fix" but, like you, never used other auto downloads, like bank / credit card

I dont believe MSMoney ever directly down loaded transaction data from banks in the UK, but did so in the US..  Normally your bank/credit card app has the facility to export an OFX file which can be read by MsMoney.  A Quicken QIF file also works.  Obviously nothing will have changed with Ms Money so is your bank/credit card provider doing something different? Or do you have a technical problem on your PC such as losing the link between OFX/QIF files and Ms Money?

Perhaps if you tell  us your credit card provider someone can check.  My wife has confirmed that Santander credit card transactions work fine using the QIF file option.

Also exactly what are you doing to pick up your credit card data and exactly what happens when you try to use it?

^ I am also still using Money 2000. One of these days I must update to the "new" 2005 version.
