hi, im looking for a cheap sony bravia 32", or a 26" sony bravia with freeview. my budget is £430 tops. does anyone know of any gd deals?
i was goin to buy the samsung 26"/32" but reviews said the sound quality was very poor which would be annoying as the TV is going in the kitchen so the echoing would spoil the viewing.
thx.

all slightly all over your budget, but only just, and if i was you i would go for the s series one, at £480 it is a steal, HTH Dave.Take every day as it comes!!0 -
The newish Sony KDL26T3000 seems to be fairly well regarded over at the AV forums.

Out of stock at Amazon but I saw it for the same price somewhere else but cant remember where offhand. Will update post if it comes back to me.0 -
thx for the info
. Are those the latest models? ive found some 26" ones at around £400 such as the Sony KDL-26S3020U, and Sony KDL-26P3020. ive also found a Sony KDL-26T3000 for £430.
there doesnt seem to be much difference between them so is it worth just buyin the cheapest one?
ive found a SONY 32’’ BRAVIA KDL32U2000U WITH FREEVIEW for £425. seems a bit cheap so im not sure if its a bargain or just a crappy TV, wt do u reckon?
thx.0 -
I think it really depends on how you feel about things. If you are just wanting a decent enough picture then any of those would do....however there are differences in the panel used for each of those tvs and the is a world of difference in quality between the sony u models and the sony t models for instance. The u models are entry level with basic panel whilst the t models use a better panel and the picture will be better as a result, especially for viewing standard definition pictures like normal (not HD) freeview/sky etc.
When it comes down to it...it's all subjective and is a personal choice. Personally, I would have the 26T over the 32U anyday, but that doesn't make me right. Plenty of other people have the 32U and are happy with it.0 -
hhhmm..i see wt you mean. i want a 32" now for the amount im gonna pay so might go for the LG 32LC56 which i can pick up for £400!! which will probs have better picture quality than the SONY 32’’ BRAVIA KDL32U2000U.0

I bought my 32" Sony Bravia from Digital Direct in January and I am very pleased with it. It cost £465 + delivery, but I see it is now down to £389.96 + £29.99 delivery. You may wish to check out this thread though.0
