Digital Landline without call plan

Options
Existing phone+broadband contract is coming up for renewal. Looking around, suppliers are offering broadband only or with digital landline on a calls plan at additional cost. However, the landline is only needed for incoming calls so paying for "free" calls that won;t be made seems excessive.
Does anyone know of suppliers who will include the digital landline withou a calls package?

It would be helpful to state who the ISP is , they don’t all charge the same .

BT for example is officially £5 to add telephony on a PAYG basis to the price of broadband, in my case it’s discounted so I pay £3 ( some people pay less )
I don’t make outgoing calls it’s only for the occasional incoming call , so I pay no call charges at all  …..the way it’s presented on the website IMHO isn’t clear , as it is presented as Pay as you go is £5 , when the PAYG calls are not what the fee is for , the £5 or £3 you pay is to add  the telephony facility , don’t want or need telephone at all ( you don’t get a phone number ) then you ‘save’ £3 or £5 that what the payment is for .

If you’re willing to consider a VOIP provider Andrews and Arnold do a 01 or 02 number (or you can port your existing number to them) for £1.44 a month. Calls start from around 1p per minute if you were ever to need to make one.

If it's listed as additional cost surely that answers your own question?
