Paid insurance for theatre tickets and took insurance. Husband now seriously ill following Covid with cardiac issues . Do not have any medical,letters yet , but submitted ambulance form with details of admission. Claims it is not enough and now demands doctors certificate with medical details..data protection?0

What do you mean "data protection"? If your husband is too ill to consent is an insurance claim really the top priority? Hopefully he gets better soon so can then consent to the records being released. Ultimately if the worst happens then data protection ceases to apply as it only protects living persons.0
