Hello all
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.
I am looking to buy a LCD TV in January, as I have some bonus coming and my crt is on the way out.
Who make the best screens?
What is 1080i and 1080p and the difference between them?
I want 37"+ HD ready digital for a max. £600ish, what do you suggest?
Cheers

Going and look in some shops, find a model that suits your requirements, that you like the look\style of etc. Then return home and use the 'search this forum' button here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=155 and see what everyone else has to say about the chosen model.
If you like what you read, buy tv and enjoy
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

IMHO, £600 would be better spent on a 32 like the Pansonic tx32lxd70 which is excellent. For a good 37, you'll need to raid the piggy-bank and look at plasma too.0 -
What he said above a cheap LCD will be a big disappointment.Nothing to see here, move along.0
