I couldn't tell you a thing about cameras, but have you tried putting this on the diy forum? I'm sure I've read about this kind of thing over there.
Someone was posting a few weeks back asking about cameras that he could install inside the house - That thread got deleted pretty quick. He asked again claiming it was to monitor mouse activity in the kitchen. Didn't end well second time round (thread deleted again)....
By all means post on the DIY forum, but be clear about your intentions and the targets of interest.

Why would these posts have been deleted? Trying to work out where vermin are coming from/going to within the house strikes me as a completely reasonable use of installed cameras.

Air B&B. Install camera (s). Then, to quote Monty Python, "Snap, snap, grin, grin, say no more! Candid photography. A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat!" >:)
     Just guessing, of course. o:)

I've had excellent results with this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09CCYH7K7/

It's now showing as unavailable, but you might be able to find a used one in good condition.

Any progress Bobby? I just found this thread as I got the same model Ceyomur this week and while fairly happy with the captures, am horrified by how fast the batteries have run down.
