Cabot Financial --> Orbit doorstepping and advice please?

Hi all, with much thanks to this forum over the last 10-15 years we've managed to sort out many of our old debts mainly credit cards.
The only one really left is a Yorkshire Bank account sold onto Cabot years ago and they were terrible to deal with but in the end I said all I could afford was £1. for all that time the standing order has been going out and continues to do so only 1388 months to go
Lately however, I've had a couple of cards through the letterbox hand delivered from Orbit acting for Cabot "aiming to connect with their team".
Now, because they mucked me about so much back then I'd like to carry on at £1 a month forever until they write it off ( had a result last month like this with an old HSBC debt where they wrote to me and said they won't be following it up anymore).
Do I HAVE to give them a budget planner? I'm pretty sure I don't but wanted to check?
I'm half tempted to send a CCA request just to see if they literally have the paperwork anymore, it's over 15 years old and they may no longer be able to prove it? I know that's cheeky but the stress these people put us through it's tempting to stick it to them a bit.
I checked their site and it confirms the £1 a month still and the only other link is it's trying to get me to fill in a budget planner which i've no intention to do.
What I really don't like is them sending their faux bailiffs for a "word" especially given my wife had a stroke less than 6 weeks ago and she doesn't need this hassle frankly.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

only a court can force you to produce an income expenditure sheet
and the cca agreement request will cost you a first class stamp and a £1 postal order or cheque which they won't cash and return it to you.
it takes 5 mins to write and could potentially save you thousands of poundsChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

You do not have to give any of these people a budget planner.
Stop paying them and then send a CCA request and see what happens.
Don't worry about someone knocking on your door, just don't answer the door to anyone you don't know, they have no more rights than a double glazing salesman. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1 -
You don't have to give them anything.
You can start with a CCA, the prove it letter from the sticky posts will do.
I made mistake of making token payments until I realised that it was just delaying the Statute Bar.

You should send this without further delay.
The National Debtline templet is best, you can find it here:

Is this an old overdraft? They may respond to say no credit agreement is required.1

Honestly I don't remember it's that long ago, I don't think it was an overdraft but hand on heart couldn't state for sure 100%. If I send the template they can either provide proof, not provide proof or say it's irrelevant as it was an overdraft?0

Right, apologies, life and health got in the way and I was later than I wanted to be sending them the letter and today got this back
So, they are basically saying they cant prove the debt but I do apparantly owe it? So whats the recommended next step? Stop paying as they cannot prove seems logical, are they likely to be spiteful about this in some way? Tempted to write a letter to yorkshire bank who sold the debt and copy cabot in basically stating to either prove they sold it to them or drop it (and post it on twitter as an open letter) I presume though the advice is simply stop paying and walk away?0 -
Yes the latter, for now anyway, they may at some point in the future find something enforceable, but for now you can cease payments if you want too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
