This is a "How long is a piece of string" question.
1. what do you mean by best?
2. Do you really mean savings, investments or both?
3. How long is this for 5years, 10years, until retirement?
4. Are you paying high interest on cards?
5. Do you have a job, an emergency fund, pension?
There are even more questions before, you can get a meaningful answer.0 -

Why do posters post a thread and give no information whatever ?
How can anyone help with zero information !2 -
People who are new to investing often don't understand enough to even phrase a sensible question. The lack of knowledge about such a fundamental aspect of living in a capitalist society where large parts of our lives are governed by markets is part of the reason so many people feel disconnected and powerless.Xenon said:Why do posters post a thread and give no information whatever ?

How can anyone help with zero information !Someone may be new to investing / saving we all have to start somewhere but would you not read through some posts first and get an idea of what you need to ask to get the best response. As already said, lots of posts asking the same question. You need to put a little bit of work in to get the best results.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.1 -
