Which Power adapter

Hi
I need a power adaptor for an old device that takes a 9v 200mA supply.
I know the adaptor has to be 9v output but what can the low to max mA be?

You want it to be able to supply at least 200ma.  If it can supply more that is not a problem as the device will only draw what it needs.

It also needs to supply a 9V AC voltage (not DC). That's what the wavy line means.

Also, polarity doesn't matter but the dimensions of the co-axial plug, both the sleeve and the pin, are critical.

the centre pin will be either positive or negative so ideally you need a power supply that enables you to reverse just in case you get the wrong way around

The INPUT is AC so there are NO polarity issues !

Just been through my 2 boxes of junk cable and found 2 power supplies that fit the bill and work.
I asked my son if he needs a Scart lead and his reply is " it's not the 1940's"
