Replacing Washing Machine Door latch

I wonder if anybody can help me.The catch on my Indesit wd10 washing machine has broken.Unfortunately the spring e.t.c. had come off so not sure how it looked before. I have now got a new catch and have tried to fit with spring but cant get it to fit right. Has anybody ever done this and if so how do i do it. I have looked on the internet for pictures but no joy.

I have also been searching everywhere for Indesit washing machine door handle fitting instructions but have not had any luck (this site was the first result that came up on Google:T). I even tried calling Indesit but they were very unhelpful and suggested I called out one of their engineers :rolleyes:
If I manage to find a way of fitting it I will take some pics and post them here for others who are in the same situation.0
