    The key information is as follows:

    Customer advisory notice.

    There is nothing on the said notice that uses words such as “must” “shall” “is mandatory” etcetera.

    The pedant in me would get an ultra fine Sharpie and just write “Noted” on the said tag.

    Fair enough with the warning label, in this case, but looks like both the meter and output pipe would have benefited by being on the other side of the wall, well away from the electrics.  Even without the label, might have a surveyor leaping up and down if you ever try to sell the house.

    Hi i have a similar query, i was also left one of those notices when new smart meter was fitted. Am now going to have my fuse box updated but is the 150mm distance ir lack of it something i need to worry about. Please find photo attached.

    You'd have to get a ruler out. But I don't see a problem there.

    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
