I ordered carpet at the beginning of July through a now closed Carpetright store using a gift card I bought with my blue light card scheme. I bought the gift card using a credit card. So the gift card wasn’t a Carpetright one but a third party authorized by Carpetright.  Can I still claim under the sec75 against my credit card?

How did you pay Carpetright? If it was entirely via these vouchers then no, you cannot claim via the CC as what you paid for via card was supplied (the vouchers.)

If you paid any amount directly to Carpetright on the CC you would be able to go via S75.

    No.
    No debtor-Creditor link
As you bought a gift card from a 3rd party.

  • Hi, I bought vinyl flooring at beginning of July and had it fitted before the administration took place.
     I paid by credit card.
This should have had a 10 year guarantee, is there anything I can do as the store has now shut? Thanks
