Temp car Insurance: "Have you or any of your drivers ..."

Hi all,
Say you were looking at car insurance quotations and you are considering the question:
'Have you or any of your drivers ever had a car insurance policy cancelled, voided, refused or had special terms imposed ...'
If you have only ever been a named driver on other people's policies, is it ever possible for the answer to that to be 'yes'? Or would it only apply if you have ever taken out a car insurance policy yourself?
Thanks

If the policy wasn't yours then the "have you" is not applicable.0

As long as the person whose policy it was is not a named driver on your proposed policy.0

That is how we hoped to interpret it but wanted a second opinion etc.Expanding on that if I may (and based on the thought that some Ins Co's may like to wriggle out of stuff or hike premiums etc ...).Person 1 has an insurance policy (with no cancellations etc), adds on person 2 as a named driver who has a query from 5+ years ago where they weren't sure if a situation would count as being refused a policy and so explained this to the insurer on the phone for clarity.
Explaining this to the insurer results in the answer to that question being recorded as 'Yes' on the policy documents. However, as per the initial question here, person 2 has always only been a named driver on other people's policies and never been a policy-holder themselves (which they're not sure if the current insurer realised).
So based on the advice above, it sounds like that is incorrect and should be a 'No'?
Is it likely that if person 1 rings the Ins Co to explain the error and asks them to correct it to a 'No', is this a) likely to be possible and b) have any unexpected negative side issues please?
Thanks again.

Hi and thanks for the clarification. Nope, this is just a simple ex 'named driver', potentially taking out their own policy etc.
