The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a Pavilion Suite at Rothay Manor, a stylish boutique hotel in Ambleside. In a grade II listed Regency villa, the interiors mix luxurious fabrics with bold patterns and fell-and-forest colours. Bedrooms feature George Barclay beds and wool duvets. There is even a dog-friendly washroom.
The head chef Aaron Lawrence’s richly textured cooking showcases local flavours across three new menus – the prize includes a Signature dinner for two and a dinner for two from the All-Day Dining menu.
Adventures beckon on Windermere, up the Langdale Pikes or over the Kirkstone Pass to Ullswater.
The prize must be taken before July 28, 2025, subject to availability and excluding December 24 to January 2, April 18 to 22 and bank holiday weekends.
