Curtain for base of roof lantern?

Hi, I have this roof lantern at home
In pure devilish style, it has the pot (the glass) but lacks the lid (a curtain).
Being east facing, in summer the kitchen becomes hellishly hot and bright. I can enter the kitchen only from 3pm, when the sun has moved away. I suffer the bright light as much as any temperature above 20°.
The ceiling is made of plasterboard, of course.
I was wondering if it's resistent enough to attach to it a couple of lightweight roads to use as drivers for a lightweight curtain, or if I risk to break it.
Does anyone have experience with a setup like this?
Spending thousands of pounds for a professional solution is definitely NOT an option.
Thanks.

Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

Right, the PB itself must be clinging to something.
I like the self-drilling screws0
