Hi Folks
I have seen some adverts that state you can get solar panels fitted for free, regardless of the fact whether or not you claim benefits.
Is that true?
Thanks

If you fall meet the qualifying criteria for ECO4 or a locally administered government grant (Warm Homes funding), you might get free solar panels. But don't hold your breath, and make sure it isn't one of these rent-a-roof schemes.geek84 said: I have seen some adverts that state you can get solar panels fitted for free, regardless of the fact whether or not you claim benefits.

Thanks for all your advice, folks.

Hard to see how it wouldn't be a rent a roof scheme, otherwise what would be in it for the installer?FreeBear said:

They get to claim a grant off whoever is running the scheme.Risteard said:

If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Not enough to pay for it though.Ectophile said:
