Hull’s Freedom Festival is back for 2024 – with a fantastic programme of artistic spectacles from across the globe! 

Across 5 days, Hull city centre will burst into life with breath-taking installations, world-class performances, walk-about acts, music, theatre, acrobatics, and dance. Freedom Festival began in 2007 to commemorate the bicentennial abolition of slavery, spearheaded by Hull’s own William Wilberforce, and since then, has grown to become the largest outdoor arts festival in the region.

Taking place between Wednesday 28th August and Sunday 1st September, Freedom Festival has commissioned a spectacular line-up of performances from local, national, and international artists. All outdoor performances and installations across the main festival weekend are free-to-access and completely family friendly!

Freedom Festival are also proud to announce that renowned Australian circus company Circa will be performing their ground-breaking show Eternity, at Hull Minster as part of the Festival. Not only this, but Hull Truck Theatre will be hosting two immersive shows for babies; Bob Marley for Babies and Universe. These are ticketed events.

    The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Competition Terms’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

    Details of the Promotion:

    To enter the Promotion, you must enter via the entry form.

    The tickets cannot be exchanged & are non-refundable.
