Just back from food shopping and got a few yellow stickered products from M***s which I was pleased about.

Apart from that a quiet day today.  Am also looking forward to the Olympic ceremony Gers.

Morning all, the sun is shining today, a welcome change after yesterday's drizzle from morning till night. We had a busy day yesterday, Mr Fix It had his blood test and while I sat in the car waiting for him I watched the fire brigade arrive to deal with a small fire that someone had set. I had seen someone messing about in the bushes but I didn't realise what was going on and I watched him walk away pushing a small shopping trolley and talking to himself. I think he had MH issues. I also received an SoS call from Dad as he couldn't put his cleaner on charge (turns out that he hadn't attached the battery properly.)
We had coffee and cake in a new coffee shop at the garden centre, now a separate area to the restaurant and I had a slice of a most delicious summer fruit, fresh cream layered gateau mmmmm ! I bought some cakes, a loaf and sausage rolls in the farm bakery and treated myself to some grey coloured lawn edging in the GC shop. It's lethal for me to go in there. We called in Dad's to sort out his cleaner and I took him a sausage roll and a cake, although his neighbour had just been with a pasty for him, which he was already eating.
This morning I have a load in the wm and I'll hang it out before we go over to the van to sort out the tap again 🤞 We must remember to take the pump this time ! I'll call in the surgery to sort out Dad's script from the hospital 😡 Later we have a large sm delivery arriving but some of it is Dad's which we will take up tomorrow when his fridge/freezer arrives. 
Camelot I think the best person won the sewing bee and I enjoyed the series once more. Love the tales about your little one, I miss mine being little.
TA sorry I thought you were going today, have a great time away. Any room for a little one ?
dp1 and Mehefin hugs for everyone involved and I hope you both get positive answers today.
taff have you come to Wales yet. If not you must hurry up as the sun is shining today and you might miss it 😎

Morning all

Its sunny here today which is lovely after non stop rain yesterday, it’s lovely to have some nice weather.

Day off for me today and I couldn’t grab myself out of bed this morning I don’t have a lot to do today so it’s fine, I have put a wash on this morning and will walk the dogs later and have a quick tidy through then the day is mine.

Mehefin what a worry for you both I hope you get some good news soon xxx

DP1 let’s hope they can scan little one today and you get some good news xxx

We are going to have a takeaway tonight as a treat so looking forward to no cooking.

Enjoy the caravan TA- hope the weather is dry at least! It's fast moving clouds/ odd bits of blue here.

I decided to go and chop the brambles which are coming over the fence again across the road. As that's the bit I walk along to get to the wooded area with pooch & nearly been got at with the viscious thorns , it was time for action! Also went on the path in the trees and cleared our walking route of nettles, more brambles etc. Felt a bit daft coming back onto our road - mad woman with shears, another road is shut and cars are being diverted down here so more traffic than usual.

DGS is back from his hols with Mum,StepD, and little brother & sis this afternoon, looks like they've had a great time. I didn't think I'd miss the school run but at least it gives me chance to see him most days. Now DGD is getting older we aren't needed the same for her, and she wants to be off with her friends.Make the most of it those of you with littlies

I think DS1 is out for a curry tonight with his car mates so thought I'd make a chilli for me & DH later.

Hi all i have been reading along but nothing to post as  DH is off from work with stress and anxiety he is a perfectionist at work and when others dont bother he finds it hard after 30 years there he has had enough ,house stuff and child minding are now taking up my life and although the second one is fun its very tiring now he doesn't have a day nap but in better news i have sent a message to all the children that March 2026 i will no longer be available for permanent child care only ad hoc days if we are around.  We have booked holidays already for then China being the big one so something to look forward to for both of us 
I am just popping on to send hugs and some extra strength to Mehefin  and DP1 and to let you all know that i am thinking of you all and miss the daily x

Hello everyone
No news from the hospital yet, other than that they were still planning to do the scan this morning. I'm trying not to message DD yet, as I know she will be in touch when there's news, but I'll have to soon!
I've been down to their house this morning, with some washing I'd done and I cleaned her bathroom. I was lucky, I was just back home when it started pouring, it's sunny again now.
Also been down to mam and dads to do his banking and put some more Audible books on for him.
My eldest DD is 28 today - makes me feel quite old! Had a chat this morning and then she was going to go and get her hair cut and coloured and then will be going out for dinner with friends.
She's excited for me going to visit her next week, but I'll not can go if little one is no better.
Right, I'll be back when I have news. Hope everyone has a good day x

Thanks for the update @DP1, no news is good news!  There are so many of us sending out healing thoughts and keeping your DD in mind.

Those healing thoughts must have been helping Gers - she's had her brain scan and it looks absolutely fine!
Just got to be patient and let her rest over the weekend and they'll see what she's like on Monday. DD sent a photo of her fast asleep x

Woohoo!  That's such fabulous news DP1 - and such a good start to the weekend.  I hope that you can relax even a little bit tonight.
