These This Morning terms and conditions, along with ITV’s General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, available here, (“General Terms”), apply to Competitions (defined below).

 

Who can enter:

 

The Coin Drop competitions in relation to the This Morning programme (the “Programme”) are open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Competitions (defined below).

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the prize. 

 

By entering the Competition, you confirm the following:

• You are 18 years or over and are a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man resident at the time of entry and of closing of the Competition;
• You do not work for and are not related to anyone who works for ITV or STV;
• You have read and accept these This Morning’s Coin Drop competition terms and conditions;
• You have read and accept the General Terms; and
• You consent to be phoned live on air and for your name, general location, details of the prizes that you have won to be announced in the Programme, on the Website, on social media platforms and/or elsewhere at the Promoter’s discretion. This is in addition to the Promoter’s rights under clause 9.5 of the General Terms; and
• You will be contactable between 12.00pm and 12.30pm on the relevant Competition closing date. 

 

Opening/closing date & time: 

 

The competitions open and close for entries online via the www.itv.com/win and www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) and the This Morning app (“App”) as set out below:
 

• Competition 1: opens on Monday 22 July 2024 and closes at 11.30am on Tuesday 23 July 2024; 
• Competition 2: opens on Tuesday 23 July 2024 and closes at 11.30am on Wednesday 24 July 2024; 
• Competition 3: opens on Wednesday 24 July 2024 and closes at 11.30am on Thursday 25 July 2024; 
• Competition 4: opens on Thursday 25 July 2024 and closes at 11.30am on Friday 26 July 2024;
  (each a “Competition” and together the “Competitions”).

 

You must: (i) complete your entry within five (5) minutes from clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button; and (ii) start your entry before the closing date and time of the relevant Competition, otherwise you will not be able to complete your entry and you will not have entered the Competition.

 

How to enter & cost of entry

 

To enter the Competition, visit the Website or the App and follow the instructions. In order to enter the Competition, you will need to register or log on to the Website. 

 

You will have thirty (30) seconds (“Time Limit”) to answer one (1) multiple-choice question (“Quiz”). When you are ready to confirm your answer, click the ‘Submit’ button (“Answer”). 

 

You will only be able to attempt the Quiz once per Competition. 

 

Please note that once you begin the Quiz, you cannot cancel, pause or navigate away from your Competition entry and you will not be entered into the relevant Competition. 

 

If you Answer within the Time Limit, you will be asked whether you would like to proceed to payment to enter into the prize draw (“Prize Draw”) for a chance to win up to £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) in a game, broadcast live on the Programme (“Prize”). If you fail to Answer within the Time Limit, you will not be able to enter the Prize Draw. 

 

If you wish to enter into the Prize Draw, you will be invited to submit your full name and county and proceed to payment to complete your Competition entry.

 

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website or the App. You may enter via the following routes (as available on the Website or the App): 

• Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a ‘Winsday’ prize draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you. 
• Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 
• Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.
• Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.
• Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.

 

Please note if you are using a credit card with Apple Pay or Paypal, your card provider may impose surcharges.

 

You will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the ’Winsday‘ prize draw for every one (1) paid entry.

 

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Competition will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. You must complete your Competition entry via the Website or the App within five (5) minutes of clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button. You should ensure that you have an adequate internet connection before entering the Competition. If you lose your internet connection, close or refresh your browser at any point whilst making your Competition entry, or click ‘Back’ between starting the Competition and making payment, you will not be entered into the Competition, you will not be able to start your entry again and you will not be able to participate in the Competition. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

Each Prize Draw will take place shortly after 11.35am on each Competition closing date. 

 

Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry with the correct Answer drawn at random from all eligible and correct entries for each Prize Draw will be called live on air on the Programme between 12.00pm and 12.30pm on the applicable Prize Draw closing date on the entrants phone number as provided to ITV. If the entrant does not answer the phone within six (6) rings or the entrant’s phone goes to voicemail, the entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the Prizes and the Promoter will move onto the next eligible entrant and so on until a winner is found. For the avoidance of doubt, the six (6) rings are those heard on the Programme and in this regard ITV's decision shall be final.

The winner will be contacted in accordance with these terms and conditions and the General Terms. Clauses 5.1 to 5.3 (inclusive) of the General Terms do not apply to this Competition. 

 

If no eligible and correct entries are made for the Prize Draw by the close date of the relevant Competition, the Prize Draw will not take place and the Prizes will not be awarded to any entrant. 

 

Please note that the correct Quiz answer will only be revealed on-air after the closing date and time of the Competition. 

 

Contingency 

 

In the event that no winner is found on air between 12.00pm and 12.30pm, the Promoter will continue to call eligible entrants off air for a period of time following the process set out above until a winner is found and the prize will be awarded in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

 

Prize: 

 

For each Prize Draw, the winner will be asked to select a ‘coin column’ on the board (“Column”). The presenter will drop a coin from the top of the chosen Column, which will land in one of the ‘cash pots’ at the bottom of the board (“Drop the Coin”). The cash pots are labelled with different prize values, ranging from £3,000 (three thousand pounds) to £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds). The winner will win the cash prize associated with the cash pot where the coin lands (“Prize”). Please note that the path the coin takes is random and determined by the pegs on the board. 

 

Following the reveal of the Prize, the winner will have the option to either: (i) keep that Prize; or (ii) choose to Drop the Coin again, from the same Column or a different Column.  If the winner chooses option (ii), the Prize won during the first Drop the Coin will be lost and the new Prize will be the cash prize associated with the cash pot where the coin lands during the second Drop the Coin. The winner may only Drop the Coin twice. 

 

Please note that if during Drop the Coin, the coin gets stuck before reaching a cash pot, the presenter will remove the coin from the board and Drop the Coin again from the same Column. For the avoidance of doubt, this will not count towards the maximum of two (2) Drop the Coin available as set out above. 

 

The cash Prize will be paid by BACS in the name of the winner only.
