Share Dividend payment problems

Dividends from SSE paid from LINK returned by Building Soc as details not correct. At first Link said they had not been returned. Cut a long story short some of them have been repaid but they say they cannot trace two payments.
This has been going on for over a year now.
Made a compaint to the Financal Ombudsmen who after several weeks have now said there is nothing they can do because share dividends payments are not covered by them.
Computershare have now taken over as registrars and the last letter to Link about this they sent on to them but it has nothing to do with them.
At a loss as to what to do next.

If it's Link that has your money why can you not continue to deal with it directly? What was the outcome of any complaint you made with Link? Could you start another? SSE pays a dividend twice a year so how many years are we going back? Is there a chance it's the earliest dividends that are missing and it's been so many years that they've been forfeited back to SSE?1 -
It goes back to 2022 first made contact with them in March 2023.
Yes that was my thought about going to the CEO.
Did make another complaint but they just forwarded my letter on to Computer Share.0 -
Write to the company secretary of SSE. Enclose copies of all the correspondence. Might elicit a goodwill gesture. They after all fund the dividend payments.1

Yes I did think of doing that. Just get the feeling they will say to refer back to Link! Probably have to do it now.0
