Enduring Power of Attorney and addresses

My wife and I have Enduring Power of Attorney for each other (not registered yet, thankfully). We created them when we lived at a previous address. Can they still be registered and used if necessary despite having the old address on them? Or do we need to creat new LPAs?

I'm also using an EPA - with consent as donor has capacity, doesn't need registering. Fine to have old addresses; you'll need to prove your address and ID when you set it up with the financial institutions. (which still doesn't mean it has to be registered with the OPG).

As these went out in 2007 (although are still valid) it can take a bit of explaining. Also as they are irreplacable; suggest getting certified copies and storing the original somewhere VERY safe. If you use them you sometimes need to post them to places and you certainly don't want to post the original.
