Should I fix?

I currently pay £50 per month direct debit. On the following plan:

Plan rates

Electricity

Peak unit rate

21.64p/kWh

Standing charge

56.00p/day

Gas

Unit rate

5.33p/kWh

Standing charge

31.10p/day

I have been offered a 1 year fix with the same unit rates and a discounted standing charge rate for gas of 25.42p/day.

As I am a small user is it worth me taking this on? I have been researching around and looking at forecasted energy prices and to me it seems a safe bet to take this on as prices are likely to rise in the next year, is that correct?

I don't want to switch as I am with OVO they have a Powermove promotion which due to working hours I hit every month and get £10 off my bill per month.

Sorry to ask but as I have only ever been on the standard tariff this is all new to me since I moved out just after the energy crisis began

Thanks
