End of car lease
My car lease is ending very soon and car being collected in 10 days. At recent service, tyre repair kit was seen to be out of date.
My questions are:
1. Do I have to replace it? (Agreemeny says it needs to be serviceable at end of lease)
2. If so, can I get away with buying a cheaper option from Halfords etc as garage quoted £56 to replace

If all else is well with the car, I would risk handing it back as is.
If they pick up the tyre sealant as out of date they may charge you for it, no doubt a set cost similar to the dealer price but you're already prepared to pay for it now.
If they don't, it costs you nothing.
Chances are the lease company's agent, usually an auction house, will check the car for excess wear and damage then it's straight into the next auction so may not check.1 -
Extremely unlikely they will pick up the sealant date. They still work after the date anyway. Don't worry about it.0

You can probably pick up a manufacturer-branded sealant kit on eBay. Buy that and return the car with it if you want to reduce the risk of a charge. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
