HMRC Data Request

I have seen somewhere here a link to a HMRC website where they send you a full printout by post of your historical national insurance information, which can be several pages.

Can someone reply here with the link please, as the search facility seems a bit poor.

It seems to vary by person though - I did this for myself and my wife, and both received only a couple of pages of double-sided information on NI contributions. Pretty much the same as you can already see on line - and not much to show for nearly 40 years of NI payments!

Each year has a drop down thing, where it shows the total amount paid in that year. If that's what your looking for. You can then print that.

I don't seem to be able to link directly to the page, but this will get you there after you have logged into HMRC - just repaste the link into your browser. Alternatively, on the page this link lands on, there should be a 'view your NI record link'.

This shows NI contributions by year.

Before the ni record was available on the govt gateway I requested a copy of my ni record. What I received had the same info that is now available on the government gateway under the "Your National Insurance and State Pension" section
