What can I sell on Ebay?

Hi Guys

I've been selling books on ebay for a year now. Whilst this has made me a nice little profit which has helped with Xmas pressies etc it hasnt really made me any serious profit. Im now looking to take a step up and try to make a continous income from ebay.

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas of items that I could sell on Ebay.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated:money:

Happy new year

Well for a start if we all knew what was the majic product for profit on e-bay we would all be doing it.

Keep doing what works for you. As you say your making a profit on books. Any way of upping the number you sell/source them cheaper?

Someone i know goes round the charity shops getting cheap books, if you dont do this already is it an option?

Personally i just have an e-bay box at home and whenever any of us want rid of something we just put it in there.
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
  • As lionhead said above, do what works for you.

You say that you have been successful selling books...is there any way that you could sell more? Can you get your stock cheaper?

Both are sure fire ways to make more profit!

If you are starting to trade properly (rather than selling unused household items) then be aware that you willl need to start paying income tax.
There may also be other issues like your house insurance if you are "working" from home or keeping stock.

Just make sure it's worth your while before you strat.

With ebay fees, postage and packaging there are a number of costs to take into account and it's quite easy to inadvertantly do something illegal which I'm sure was never your intention.
