True. I guess it all depends on how much and how frequent. For example, I'd be looking to make monthly purchases, so that £5 would become £60 over the year.

If it's in a GIA, can they be transferred from Vanguard to iWeb straight away, does anyone know?
There are regular saver accounts that can be used to pool monthly income at a high rate of interest before making an annual investment. It does depend how much you want to put towards your investment per month.

ESG Developed World All Cap Equity Index Fund
    GB00BLLZQL34

    Is it this one?  https://www.vanguardinvestor.co.uk/investments/vanguard-esg-developed-world-all-cap-equity-index-fund-uk-gbp-acc/portfolio-data

Why not one I'd heard of before but from previous interactions I am sceptical about the ESG bandwagon.

For a world all cap it is 99% developed world and 70% USA. Knowing what we know now who wouldn't have been happy with 70% USA for the past 5 years but for the next 5 years or 10 years who knows?

Needing money for a house purchase soon perhaps not a good time to go into equities; 5 years plus seems to be the received wisdom. If the intention is to buy that OEIC direct with Vanguard without fees and monthly transfer to an iWeb account that's introducing addition admin which I think was the problem with ETFs. But I don't know much about the fund nor Vanguards platform.

To make things easier (maxed tax wrappers, hence GIA, and Inc), I am contemplating going with this:

HSBC FTSE All World Index IC Inc

But, on the iWeb platform. That way it's a £5 trade fee, appears as though that has a 0.13% on-going charge, and no platform fees on iWeb? Is that correct? Anything I may of missed?

That is correct. HSBC could put their charge up. I believe they did that with a couple of their funds. Vanguard has never increased its charges, as far as I know.

I use Vanguard Developed World ex UK in my GIA. Excluding the UK and Emerging Markets reduces the amount of dividend tax that I have to pay. The OCF is 0.14%. I have Vanguard FTSE 100 Unit Trust and VFEM in my ISA.
