Possession Hearing experience

Has anyone here been through a possession hearing on either side and what was the outcome/reasons?

Thanks

I used to run a court desk on possession days for the CAB.

Do you want to give us some more details? Do you have any specific questions?

Possession hearings are often quite quick
Which court is it? Because of the type of hearing there is often a duty solicitor on hand (depending on the court) to assist and legal aid is available in certain cases.

In S21 accelerated cases where no money is involved if the judge broadly agrees with the landlord do they ever use an adjournment "creatively" to allow the tenant more than six weeks ?

Your only hope in a s21 case is to find fault with the notice.

On the time thing, at my court 6 cases were listed for each half hour. That's 5 minutes per case. When you consider it takes a minute to get everyone in and a minute to get everyone out, that leaves 3 minutes to hear the claimant, hear the defendant and for the judge to sum up
