Well i've sent the response to the LOC.
Going to wait to next week to respond to the new NTK, i'll take your advice @Coupon-mad and be silent on the driver

Thanks for your help to date. I have sent in my appeal for the 2nd PCN.
I'll come back when there is any relevant development on either one
Compliments of the season to you all2 -
Happy 2025 all
Update on 1 of my 2 matters below.
1. My reply to the LOC has had what looks to be (from my reading) a broadly standard response, although their operative has responded to my explanation that i was told to leave the site by saying 3rd party instruction does not supersede the signage T&Cs. I'd argue that a memberof staff from the parking company doesn't constitue 3rd party.
They have sent pics of the what they say is the signage, but i am in doubt as the parking charges displayed don't match what i believe to be the costs - I'll check that when i am next in the carpark.
My pre-Christmas email requested an additional 30 days - the return email was sent in 27 days (I assume i can't make much of that?)
I've kept reading the forums to put me in a good(ish) place for when I expect a claim will be received. I believe I would be well placed to start thinking about drafting defence.
If i am missing anything please do let me know, i don't want to drain forum goodwill with unnecessary questions but equally I'm happy to have anything i've missed pointed out to me0 -
You seem ready for the Claim! Bring it on.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update for anyone interested on my matters
1.
I have checked and i was right the photos supplied are not from the carpark where this occurred. I have taken photos of the correct signs. They are few and far between in the carpark. As the landowners refuse to light the multi storey levels at night they are pretty much unreadable at night without getting out. Given that there have been numerous police reports of the carpark being used for nefarious purposes by those who use illegal substances then getting out at night to go and peer at a sign is not advisable as a lone person.
2.
Surprisingly the operator upheld my appeal and withdrew its pcn. thanks @Coupon-mad for the advice on the approach to the appeal

Well done.
Statutory regulation is needed to stop this industry's out of control behaviour. A group of MPs raised it in a letter to HCLG Minister and one MP recently told Parliament "Rip-off parking 'fines' need to go".It would help if you ask your own MP to write to MHCLG asking when Govt Parking Code of Practice will be reintroduced and please join the motorists call by signing/share this petition demanding the re-launch of a Govt-backed CoP. 🙏We must keep pressure on new Govt, previous one failed to ensure motorists were protected and treated fairly from an industry who for years have shown they either lack the capabilities to achieve this or have no desire to.
The industry don't want statutory regulation but motorists urgently need it.2 -

Re the one that's at LBC stage: do not do a SAR. That's old advice. You actually want a vague claim. Makes your defence stronger and makes the case more likely to be dropped (or even struck out by the court) before any hearing, later in 2025.PRIVATE 'PCN'? and
I'm waiting for court papers for the 1st instance which has passed LBC stage (i replied but to no avail) so I'm loosely prepping a defence for when the court docs arrive. I'll come back then for comment on my para 31
