What did you make of the ‘fixed’ IOG tho QrizB ?
OP was hoping that one existed, but I've never found it! Quite happy with my variable IOG as long as it keeps getting cheaper 😎
Edit to add: this was a reference to the link in the email, wasn't it? Sorry, it was late and I was tired, that's my excuse for missing it.

For "Go" at least Octopus just sent out an email indicating that a fix is coming. No idea why they can't just announce it without the secrecy ..

"Electricity unit rates are mostly rising, although not as much as gas. Your Octopus Go off-peak rates won’t change, but your day rates will rise.
We’re also launching fixed term Octopus Go shortly – so if you’re interested in fixing your rates let us know to be among the first to know when it launches:"

The same paragraph was included in the IOG emails, too, it was just too late last night for me to investigate further!
The link takes you to one of Octopus's typical web forms where you can express an interest in fixed OG, IOG or both. I chose both :D so we'll see what happens next.

I’m hoping it’s not preparing the way for higher OG/IOG rates once the fixed period is up
