How long after completion for funds.

By this I assume you mean that the bank has stopped the payment of balance on completion, (after EA fees?etc) from your solicitor to you as Executor. If that is actually what was said, I’m very surprised. More likely the CHAPS cut off time was missed.thewad said:Why has it stopped the transfer of the buyers funds to the seller.Has it arrived yet?0 -
There's multiple steps there, its not direct from the buyer to you.thewad said:CHAPS paid......he's our solicitor who's transferring funds to us from the buyer.....I'm sure this will be sorted me just being impatient......it's been on and off for weeks now.
buyer / lender -> buyer's solicitor
buyer's solicitor -> seller's solicitor
seller's solicitor -> seller
Which of those is the bit that hasn't happened yet? If the first two, then its more serious and the buyer shouldn't have access. If the last one, then that's nothing to do with the buyer. You may have a minor annoyance with your solicitor if they could have acted a day faster, but its not material enough yet.1 -
All sorted now....was just a bit worried about stopped transfer...thanks for all replies.If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat. :beer::beer:5
