EDF trying to charge me for old energy usage

Hi all, thanks for the various bits of advice and clarifications. By going through the old bills and sending them pictures of the meters readings, they've refunded us over £1300, meaning we can also now reduce our monthly DD 😀 amazing!0

Make sure you keep on top of the billings going forward. Check that they are getting smart meter readings - it will state on your bill under or next to the readings what type of reading it is. If it says SMART (or similar), they are getting them and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Never rely on the In House Display (IHD) in your house for anything connected to billing.
