Plumbing Advice

We're about to move into an older house and would like to/ need to put the washing machine in an outhouse as it won't fit in the kitchen until we renovate it, which is likely to be a good year or so from now.
There is a boiler and a toilet (old, not currently working) in the outhouse already; will it be an easy/ quick/ relatively cheap job to get someone to do? I'm only assuming it is even possible and would like to know for definite if it is. I don't recall there being a drain in there, is this an issue? There is electricity (currently has a working fridge freezer in there).
In our current house the washing machine is in the outhouse, running directly into an open drain.
Thanks in advance, from a very stressed out mama.

There is a boiler and a (currently disconnected) toilet out there? In which case, you almost certainly have a good cold water supply, so that's that sorted. You have a toilet soil pipe, so the W/M drain can be plumbed in there. Is there a basin too? If so, that would be even easier.Power - bear in mind that a W/M will pull 2kW, possibly more, so a sparky will need to confirm that your current supply (fnurrr) is adequate and safe, but good chance it is.So, chances are you'll be fine!0

Our washing machine & tumble dryer are in the garage, the toilet we inherited was removed (yes, in a garage, just sitting in the corner) and we plumbed the washing machine into the old soil pipe.
We've never had a problem with the electric supply but we did have a JG speedfit joint pop off, the insulation had been chewed and exposed the fitting to the freezing temperatures.0
