Camping chairs and EasyJet

Options
Anybody know if you can take folding camping chairs on EasyJet flights? Would they count as extra hold bags/sporting equipment?  The sort that fold up into a rectangle approx. one metre long and carried over shoulder.  Just wondering if we might be better off purchasing them at our destination rather than paying high luggage fees.

Your cabin bag allowance is one small cabin bag (max. 45 x 36 x 20 cm), which needs to kept under the seat in front of you.

Probably too big for the cabin and you may get back a pile of twisted metal if they go in the hold.
I would buy at my destination.
