I'm on holiday all of next week, yet according to normal schedule this weekend would be a FVF reduction weekend as normal (I usually get the 80% offer).
I generally use BIN with Best Offer listings (private seller)
I then end and relist items that havent sold, as well as any new items, every 2 weeks with the new FVF offer.
I was considering skipping this one and waiting for the next in 2 weeks time rather then risk someone purchasing and me not being able to post etc, but I'm concerned if I do not use the offer I may be one of those who no longer receives it going forward?

Ah - just came across the 'Time Away' setting in eBay - I thought this was for business sellers only!
Set my time away schedule, which should stop any purchases for that period - hopefully won't put anyone off!
If I get any offers I can inform the buyer beforehand regardless
I'll just relist this weekend as normal then

It doesn’t stop the purchases (although, you might be able to set it so that it does) but from my experience, it then shows a dispatch date of a few days after when you return (so the delivery date shown to purchaser will reflect you can’t post immediately).GadgetGuru said:Ah - just came across the 'Time Away' setting in eBay - I thought this was for business sellers only!

You can turn sales off entirely using time away, I do it all the time. I’m certainly not ending all my listings if I go away for a couple of weeks. On the time away page after you’ve put your dates in then you can choose whether you want to allow your listings to remain visible with an extended despatch time, or stop sales entirely. I usually stop all sales until a day or so before I return but some people are happy to allow sales for a week or more .Money_Grabber13579 said:

Yeh Ive set it to stop sales completely - so I believe it removes your items from search results, and also blocks people from buying them until the vacation end date.0
