Bishop Auckland is the perfect place for families to visit this summer thanks to The Auckland Project, a unique collection of attractions centred around the magnificent Auckland Castle, which dates back to the late 12th century.

Families can wander through the original bishop’s palace, once home to the powerful Prince Bishops of Durham, explore the extensive gardens and go wild in the 150-acre Deer Park.

The Auckland Project is bringing history to life this summer with the return of its popular Knight School, a new Summer School for children aged 9 – 15 years old, and a series of free drop-in arts and crafts events throughout the summer holidays.

Nation Broadcasting’s Promotion ‘The Auckland Project - Summer of Tickets' (‘Promotion’) is organised by Nation Broadcasting. The Promotion will run from Monday 22nd July 2024 at 00:00 until Sunday 1st September at 23:59 across Nation Radio Wales, Dragon Radio, Bridge FM Radio, Swansea Bay Radio, Radio Carmarthenshire, Radio Pembrokeshire and Nation Radio UK.

The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Competition Terms’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

To enter the Promotion, you must enter via the entry form. 

Once you have entered the promotion, you are entered for the duration of the promotion.

Prize:

1 winner will be chosen at random on each of the following dates: 29th July 2024, 5th August 2024, 12th August 2024, 19th August 2024, 26th August 2024 and 2nd September 2024. 

There will be a total of 6 winners.

Prize per winner is one family ticket to the Auckland Project.

Tickets provide access to Auckland Castle, Gardens and the Faith Museum and are valid for a family of up to two adults and up to four children (aged 5-16), under 5s go free.

Prizes can only be redeemed once and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Prizes must be redeemed before 30th September 2024.

Email marketing@aucklandproject.org to claim your prize and confirm your preferred visit date. Tickets will then be issued via email. Tickets will only be issued to the names and email addresses supplied to The Auckland Project by Nation Broadcasting.

The tickets cannot be exchanged & are non-refundable.

All prizes are non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered.
