Veygo Not Offering Temporary Insurance To 20yo Daughter

Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues in the last day or so, where my 20yo daughter is now not getting the option from Veygo (message is something like "We are unable to  offer you...") to take out temporary insurance for a few hours or a day or so - she's been doing this quite frequently the past few months, but as of yesterday has been unable to do so. We had to use the tempcover site, but that was at least twice as much for one day (approx. £35).

Anyone had similar issues? I guess we'll monitor the situation, and see if it's just a temporary problem.

Could they have been caught by the CrowdStrike problem?

If she is doing it so often, cost wise would it not work out cheaper as a additional driver?

Yes, I did actually wonder whether it was somehow related to the global IT issue - and, yes, definitely if this persists then may add her, although sometimes she only needs it for an hour or so every few weeks - plus she's a student only at home for the summer, so the arrangement has suited us until now - let's see.
