Santander shares

Does anyone know why Santander shares [BNC.L] seem to fall off a cliff at the very end of every trading day and, usually, bounce back first thing the next morning? I only have a few shares in half a dozen companies but no others do this and I'm wondering what the cause is. Cheers.

    Looks like a low print in the end of day auction (16.35 time stamp). It was only on 136 shares worth £495.72. Immediately prior to the close at 16.30 it was trading for €4.4285 / c.373p which was its general level for the rest of the day. Sometimes auctions throw out strange prices, it could be a daily thing for BNC?

    Thanks. As I said, it happens almost every day - I've never noticed it suddenly shoot up, just drop like this week;
