Cheap Flights to Sofia (Bulgaria) with Wizzair.

Wizzair has just announced that it will start flying from London Luton to Sofia (via Budapest). To celebrate this, they are selling 10,000 single tickets for £1 each (excluding taxes, etc). Flights must be between 18 September 2005 - 25 March 2006. I've just booked for the three of us to fly for Spring Half Term (12-17th Feb 2006). It came to £182 including taxes (just over £60 each). Bit of a bargain if you ask me. You can rent an apartment cheap enough, too (I'm paying €30 a night for a two bedroom apartment).

Very intresting... But i did notice the 10ish hr total travel time from luton, plus the 2 hr b4 check in, so a very long day.

it takes a long time due to the change over in Budapest. We've got a 5 hour wait for our connecting flight there. However, I don't mind that as we can pop into Budapest for a couple of hours (travel in Budapest is very cheap). Budapest is a great city, too (went there this year).
Wizzair allows you to check in right up until 40 minutes before departure time, btw.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
