Claiming against a BAC payment

I’m not sure where to go with this, however…………

I paid a deposit to a company via a BAC that has now gone bankrupt and need to get my money back via my bank – can I claim in the same way as if I had paid by credit/debit card?

*BACS and it probably wasn’t, it was probably by faster payments. No, you effectively sent cash.

No bank payments do not have the same protection to reclaim back in such cases.
