Claiming against a BAC payment

I’m not sure where to go with this, however…………
I paid a deposit to a company via a BAC that has now gone bankrupt and need to get my money back via my bank – can I claim in the same way as if I had paid by credit/debit card?

No bank payments do not have the same protection to reclaim back in such cases.Life in the slow lane0
