PCM Parking Fine for parking in my allocated spot

Hi this is the first parking fine I've ever had and I'm a bit lost on how to proceed, I've read through the forums but it's a bit overwhelming. Here is a break down of everything:

I'm renting, I've just moved in just under 2 weeks ago.
Have a fob for a residents parking with an allocated numbered space.
Parking is managed by PCM.
Fines are from an IPC operator and windscreen fines.
My car is a lease, I am not the main driver on the lease.
So far received 3 fines, they are for not displaying a permit (Didn't know about one)
My contract with my landlord does not mention a permit and the rental agency didn't mention one either.

Sunday: Receives two parking fines on my window about 5 minutes apart labelled as two residential places (its two flats next to eachother that presumably share a car park?) whilst parked in my allocated spot which is a gated residents parking

Accidentally posted without finishing but to continue:

Friday (today): Received another windscreen fine, this time just one residential location not two separate ones.

I have contacted my landlord who rang the company and got me a temporary code to display until a permit arrives and he told me that they told him that I needed to follow the instructions on the back to dispute the fines.

pleased show us where the word fine has been used

Thanks so much for your response!

So I'm safe to appeal? What do I put in the appeal? Do I use the template?

And also - do I need to avoid inputting certain information? I'm just nervous about doing this incorrectly.

What did l did your lease/rental say about use the parking space?
    From the Plain Language Commission:

Hi, not sure if I'm using the correct wording but when I say lease I mean I'm leasing from a car company where I can hand back the car after a certain amount of time or pay a fee to keep the car. But it's a family member who is the owner and primary driver and I am a secondary driver on the car if that makes sense.

If you mean the lease as in my contract for my flat, I have an allotted space which is in my lease with my landlord, it just doesn't mention any use of a permit and it seems that my landlord hasn't been to visit the property in quite a few years so he wasn't actually aware of there being a permit initially until I contacted him about my charge/notice(?).

If there is a management company for the block. Write to them first ( Plan A), inform them that you are a new tenant in the block and do not have a parking permit as of yet ( not sure if it has been requested and is in the post). Ask them to get them cancelled.

My landlord has called up PCM and there is now a parking permit thats been requested and is in the post but they told my landlord that I need to follow the instructions on the back of the charge to appeal it - is this correct?

You can try to appeal them using the appeals process at the back of the slips or letters you received. We are always wary of this approach as most parking companies do not listen to reason and will just reject your appeal.

But you can always try. Do not state who was driving or who parked the vehicle. Just appeal as the registered keeper of the vehicle, state that you have recently started a new tenancy at this block and are currently waiting on the parking permit to arrive through the post.  If the Landlord can give you a copy of the application for the permit, submit this as evidence together with the relevant page of your tenancy agreement showing the address and start of tenancy.

Might also want to put a line asking to put the vehicle on a white list or inform their parking attendants that you are still waiting on the permits to be delivered ( albeit this will most probably be ignored)

This sounds extremely similar to my situation, linked here to the point where it might be the same carpark. I've sent you a PM to establish if it's the same place without sharing that publicly. If so we can directly collaborate.
