Home Responsibilities Protection and Full state pension

Hi All, not sure if anyone can tell me. I have a full state pension as started claiming it last year at 66. I recently received a letter from HMRC to say that I did not have full years for the time I was at home, not working, when I had my 4 children. I completed the relevant information on the Government Gateway site. I completed the information for the 2 children that were given child benefit between the years of 1978 and 2010, which they requested.
I have now received a letter to say they have updated those years as I was entitled to Home Responsibilities protection for 14 years. It does not say whether I am due any payments, but when I went on the Government gateway site to check it, there is a box stating that - 'There is a short delay in processing some payments. Your forecast will be updated as soon as possible.' Does this mean that I am owed something?

If you already have a full new state pension of £221.20 then gaining any HRP will not add to that. You will not be owed anything either. If your pension is lower than 221.20 then it may increase your pension and be owed some backdated payment.0

My friend originally was told that her claim was accepted. Then told due to her husbands pension she wasn’t entitled. He died at 52 so never claimed state pension so how can this affect her claim??0
