Hi all
I'm back! A lovely break in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion - only marred by having Covid. Seems to be a lot of it about, DM tested positive before I went away (although she thinks I gave it to her). I wasn't too bad just very tired. She's still coughing but given her very low immunity it could've been worse, and thankfully DF managed to avoid it which is as well as his knee replacement is scheduled for tomorrow.
My taste/smell which was starting to return after 3 months has completely disappeared again!
I've been trying to catch up with jobs that didn't get done cos DM was ill and DF doesn't 'see' so have decluttered a load of builders dust this morning but now feeling weary.
Have been reading along but can't remember who's done what!

Hello all, we decided to go over the van before it became too hot but my day hasn't gone as planned. I had a nose bleed before we left the house then when we went over the van to test the tap we couldn't find the water pump which is always kept in the w/up bowl in the van. Anyway we did a few little jobs while we were there and then ate our picnic before returning home to "hunt the pump". We found it buried on a chair in the office with no idea why it was there or which one of us did it 🤷♀️. I foresee an office sort out being done but I'll need Mr Fix It's help as a lot of the stuff in there belongs to him, he's having the blame anyway 🤣
Gentle hugs from a distance to those with covid/ illness and those who need strength to get through the day.
Take care all

Hello everyone,
Late one from me, as I had to go shopping before work this morning...well I was sitting outside supervising small children, but I call it work! It's been warm here but cloudy. Little one managed half a day at school yesterday and now she's off with a chest infection. DD managed to get her started on steroids last night and says she's had a good long sleep this afternoon and woke feeling a bit better, so hopefully she'll manage to get to school for at least some of her last day tomorrow. It's an early finish of 1.30, after leavers assembly.
Fingers crossed she'll be healthy over the summer holidays. DD has decided to do bank work at the care home rather than regular hours, as she has had to miss so much work lately with little one being ill.
Right I'm going to wash up and have a potter outside x8
