in Credit cards
I purchased tickets for a future event that i can’t now attend, I contacted the organiser and they have said that I cannot get a refund but I can buy some more tickets and then the will refund my original ones (which I am concerned about doing as I don’t trust them). I’m wondering if there is anyway I can claim on my credit card and get a reverse charge done?

Section 75 would only come into play if the supplier breached the contract, so isn't applicable for a change of mind by the customer?0

In what way have they breached their contract with you?
Don't understand all these people spending their hard earned money with companies they dont trust.0 -
Neither S75 nor chargeback will fly because they are there for when the seller does wrong - you not being able to attend is not their fault. If you have it in writing that you could buy the later one and then get a refund of the earlier one and they renege on that, then you would have a potential case
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
