TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM UK X Channel 4 Comedy BREAKFAST PROMO” (the “Competition”).

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS 

 

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN 

 

Pre-registration for this competition is open from Wednesday 17th May 2024 at 00:01 and closes Thursday 25th July at 11am.   

 

• To register you must complete the details required including full name and contact details, the first joke you’d perform if you did a standup gig, and the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you, on the relevant competition page [outlined in section 1] 

 

• 5 contestants who qualify by entering their details and registering online will be chosen to take part in the daily on-air competition.
• Each day of the competition, 3 contestants will be shortlisted by KISS Production teams, 1 final contestant will then be chosen to play the on-air game.
• The game will be played, and aired on The KISS Breakfast Show, 7-11am between Monday 22nd July and Friday 26th July 2024. There will be five winners of the competition across the week.
• The 3 contestants that will be shortlisted to play the game on Monday will be contacted by Friday 19th before 11am. The contestants that will be shortlisted to play the game on Tuesday 23rd will be contacted by Monday 22nd before 11am. The contestants that will be shortlisted to play on Wednesday 24th will be contacted by Tuesday 23rd before 11am. The contestants shortlisted to play on Thursday 25th will be contacted by Wednesday 24th before 11am. The contestants that are shortlisted to play on Friday 26th will be contacted by Thursday 25th before 11am.
• From the 3 contestants that have been shortlisted, the KISS Production team will decide which 1 player comes to air.
• The KISS Production team will give the chosen contestants a pre-arrange timeslot to receive the call to play the game, contestants must answer the phone within the agreed timeslot to play the game. If the caller does not pick up, another contestant from the daily shortlist will be drawn at random to play. 
• The game will be pre-recorded, and the KISS Production Team will assign which day the competition will go out on air, and therefore what daily-prize the contestants are competing to win. See section 5 for daily prizes.   
• There will be 5 games in total across the week. 1 per day.
• There will be a total of 5 winners who win the daily prize [see Section 5]. The KISS production team will confirm if you have won the prize. 
• Being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner by the production team on the KISS Breakfast show. 
• The gameplay will be pre-recorded and aired on The KISS Breakfast Show between 7-11am Monday 22nd July – Friday 26th July.
• Each contestant will need to perform the joke that they pre-registered with on the online page.
• The winner will be chosen by The KISS FM Producer for the funniest/ most entertaining/heart-felt effort.  

3. ENTRY PERIOD  

 

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period: 

From 00.01am 17th July 2024 (the “Start Time”) to 11.00am Thursday 25th July 2024. (“End Time”) 

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.  

· The on-air competition will air during the KISS Breakfast Show between 07:00 – 11:00* on Monday 22nd July, Tuesday 23rd July, Wednesday 24th July, Thursday 25th July & Friday 26th July.  

*The specific times of the on-air competition will be announced by the presenter during the show (7-11am). 

 

Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the final contestants will be announced on The KISS Breakfast Show on Monday 22nd July, Tuesday 23rd July, Wednesday 24th July, Thursday 25th July & Friday 26th July.  

If an entrant is successfully deemed a winner, the team will be in touch with them within 28 working days to arrange delivery of the prize. However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in Bauer’s sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS  

• Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry.  
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. 
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
