iPhone 14 Bin

I have a new iPhone 14 plus and the email icon seems to be stuck on 'Bin' I am used to iPhones and know the normal way to get back to folders eg inbox, but the back button is not doing anything and I can't access my email or any of the other folders.  Help please.

I use Outlook on my laptop, no idea on my phone, how do I find out?

Outlook the website or the application?

The default application on an iPhone is Apple Mail but you can naturally install a range of other options like Outlook or access email via a browser instead of an app. Most people remember if they decided to install another app or if they load safari and go to a web address each time they want to check their email.

Outlook the website and I know I use Safari on my phone.  Does this help?

Back up the phone and reset it to the factory options.

Thank you very much to those that tried to help but I decided to do what I would if it was my laptop and switched the phone off, left it a short while and then switched it back on again and hey Presto it's all back working so I could delete the nearly 400 emails that were stuck in the 'bin' and all seems ok now.
