Thank you, I’ve emailed the GP and will argue the point you have made above about their confusion if a fit note isn’t completed.

Are fit notes able to be uploaded to the universal credit application if made into a digital copy?

When you provide the fit note you will be asked for the details on it. Usually they then ask you to hold onto it incase they ask to see it.
