    Sounds like I missed something critical here. I think I've gone too far to bother with more forum trawling so I'll just have to see how it goes. The law is the law after all

    If you really want to see the back of this without all the effort you think is required, just submit the short defence and Draft Order:

    Short defence third person

    Draft order for the short defence

    Once the N180 DQ arrives, it is returned with the following message and attached copies of two persuasive appeal cases, CEL v Chan and CPM v Akande:

    Bearing in mind the contents of the defence I would strongly suggest that the judge makes the attached order in support of which I also attach transcripts of two cases which support the proposition that the judge should make the order I suggest.

    I agree with that approach for Cardiff.

    I also like stage 2 for N180 DQ stage; could be used by anyone who uses the hharry defence.
