Selling daughters' car when she leaves UK

Hi,

My daughter will be moving abroad and wants to sell her car, but she will be needing it up until the day she leaves the UK, so I'm wondering what would be the best way to sell the car?

I have seen a number of articles advising a "letter of intent" may be an option whilst retaining the car in (and insurance) her name, which means I could arrange a sale. Another option I considered would be to have her transfer ownership to myself on the day she leaves, but this would leave me needing to arrange insurance until it is sold.

Alternatively, I guess that she could take the car to a company that purchases vehicles to get a valuation, but would they then accept the vehicle from myself if I had to take it once she has left?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Arrange a buyer before she leaves and price it to sell ie a bit cheaper 5-10% than similar condition and age cars..  Sell on the last couple of days, surely she can drive your car for a bit.

Sell before she leaves and hire a car for a couple of weeks.
