Hi!
I was hoping somebody out there could help with a storage heater problem I’m having!
I have 2 Unidare Storage heaters in my flat. The models is Unidare S-512
the serial number is 813522
and it has ‘Softline’ on the front of the heater.

I’ve searched all of the asbestos lists available and can’t find it anywhere. I’ve tried to ring the manufacturer and they say they don’t have any information on the models. Does anyone know of or come across this heater before? Can anyone say if it contains asbestos?
thank you!!
thank you!!

You might find this website helpful: https://www.armco.org.uk/asbestos-survey-news/storage-heaters-that-contain-asbestos/ . It says that all storage heaters made since 1974 should be asbestos-free. Are your heaters likely to be over 50 years old?Reed1

Thanks Brian! Appreciate the help. It looks far too modern to contain asbestos but I just wanted to be safe.Cheers Jack1
